Statistics plays a vital role in the educational sector. To accomplish the set goals in an organization, the school manager or administrator must plan, implement and evaluate success. The school management and administrative department are responsible to plan ahead. For this, they need to have useful information and data about the past and present performance of the school. The statistical data is also required for making day-to-day decision-making like figuring out the number of textbooks required etc. Statistics is also necessary for collecting data on the number of teachers, enrolment and size of class, and to see fluctuations in the school graph. Data on enrolment will show the progress being made by the school and the educational system.
